Mid Century Danish Hans Wegner W2 Teak Chairs Four

An exceptional set of four original ‘W2’ model chairs, designed by Hans J. Wegner, Denmark, circa 1960’s. The teak frames feature modern styling with a distinct beautiful design, sculpturally carved backrests and rich, warm teak frames. Each seat with original Faux leather, in good condition, lending comfort, all resting on strong and sturdy legs. The black upholstered seats easily blend with many classic mid century modern tones, as the teak grains contrast the seats nicely. Classic mid-century modern styling with sturdy, solid construction. In very good vintage condition. The W2 chairs are Wagner’s early work of the 20th century. This design was guided by a lifetime of development of design and study of his and contemporaries’ works. The result is genius in all aspects – comfortable, practical, strong and durable, making them a joy to sit in for hours at a time.
nCondition Report: In good vintage condition., light signs of wear. All joints are sturdy and tight, original upholstery, no tears. Seats are structurally sound and very comfortable seating.
